Mission:

EX-44 is responsible for providing customers with online services (MOD) enabled through internet connectivity. This connection allows SEAT to offer updates Over-The-Air and connected services to its customers. The System Lead role is responsible for leading and managing all services within their cluster. This requires coordination with suppliers and alignment with several SEAT areas, as well as with VW, AUDI, SKODA, and CARIAD.

The System Lead must guarantee the end-to-end (E2E) functionality of the entire service chain (backend and vehicle).

Functions:

  • Define the service/function and create the corresponding requirements (together with the module developer and the Product Owner).
  • Plan, lead, report, and ensure the integration and validation of the service.
  • Supervise validation activities, issue detection, and solution analysis related to the service/function.
  • Approve and release the E2E services.
  • Lead governance bodies for campaign follow-up and decision-making, from operational to management levels.

Requirements

  • University degree (Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar).
  • Languages: English B2 (mandatory), German B1 (recommended).
  • Office 365 and ticketing systems experience (KPM, JIRA, SC2/3).
  • IT knowledge: in-Car & out-Car communication (protocols, signals, SW integration knowledge).
  • Experience in SEAT timelines and projects with affectation in different ECUs.
  • Tools: ODIS, DOORS, KPM, Jira/Confluence, Serial2, Admin Tool/Support Tool.
  • Personal skills: Proactivity, self‑responsibility, flexibility, ownership over assigned services, leadership capabilities, fast learner, and strong motivation to learn and innovate..
